I've come across some strange settings in PBID.
I have two PBIX-files, containing the same datasources, OData from Microsoft 365 CRM Online.
One of the files also includes a data source on an Azure SQL Server (file1), the other (file2) has only the OData source.
Both files behave equal in the Power Query part, showing the same data formatted the same way.
But in the report part, there are some differences that I don't find where comes from.
Her's an example from a filter in file2:
The letter "å" (hopefully you can see it) comes last in the norwegian alphabet. It is commonly replaced by "aa" in english, which may explain the sorting order.
Heres the same data in file1:
Here the sorting order is as it should be according to my norwegian environment. But as you can see the data in line "FLEXILÅN ANSATTE" is now grouped and added up in the line "Flexilån ansatte", now showing the number 2.
Two questions then:
Why is the sorting order different in the two files?(And where can I cange it so they are equal?)
Why has PBID automatically grouped my two lines "FLEXILÅN ANSATTE" and "Flexilån ansatte" (yes, they mean the same) without me asking for it? There actually is a difference to it.
Anyone who knows?
Regards,
John Martin
HI @jmkvalsund,
I'd like to suggest you take a look at the following link about setting custom sort order if it helps:

Looks like there is some case sensitivity in model. Please check this article might help you.
