There's no official date yet. However, a lot of people are already using Power BI Desktop Projects and the TMDL functionality so it is already fairly established.
Which lingering issues are you concerned about?
Thank you, I'm not aware of what lingering issues there are. Just figured if the Microsoft team isn't comfortable releasing to GA, then there must be a reason. I don't want to be in a situation where something unexpectedly breaks or some feature we are using stops working. Do you have a sense of the severity of the outstanding problems with PBIP that keep it from being released to GA?
