Hi All,
Kindly need your help, I have an issue regarding slicer is not showing all the options and get filtered automatically.
The slicers only show below list
Instead, The list expected to show like this:
Below are my data details.
I have 2 actual data tables :
1. From sales to Gross margin (GM),
2. Below Gross Margin (basically all expenses).
And I also have another Master Data tables which are:
1. Commitment Item (which basically GL account from Sales, COGS, Expenses, and others)
2. Department
3. Period
Below are the tables relationship
Conditions:
1. I have no filters active in all visuals or canvas
2. The error only happens when I use slicers of period table, if it is inactive, the slicers are showing normal list
3. I only have below measures
Thus what I need to do to make sure that the slicers showing all the list although I use slicers for period table?
Thank you everyone
Best regards
Firman
Hello @Firman-Wijaya ,
According the data model date table is filtering the table Detail based on date. It is highly possible that the date you are filtering may have only selected values of category present in Detail table. For eg. If you have selected 1st April 2023 in date slicer then it will fetch only htose categories from Detail table where the column which is used in relationship have the value corresponding to 1st April 2023.
Please let me know if you have any queries or if my understanding is not correct.
