Web Query has a new column that does not show on PowerBI desktop

Hello I have seem tips on how to refresh the data query if a CSV source has an extra column added. I am getting my data from the Web. My Web source has now a new column that also needs to show as a field on Desktop. However, this is not coming across. Any tips please? I have done a search for this subject but no sucess yet. Thanks.

In the screenshot you've posted, I believe in line 4 you will need to add your new column references.  I can't tell from your screenshot but if this is similar to an issue I was just working through, this section is split into two, both contained by {}.  One section for Column Name, the other for Field Name.  Add your info in the appropriate places and follow the formatting of other entries and I think you should be OK.  If you only add to one section within this line, you'll get the following when you try to apply:

Expression.Error: We expected newColumnNames to have the same number of items as fieldNames.
Details:
[List]

Within Advanced Editor there is also likely sections detailing the data types and the column orders but I am not sure it's necessary to make entries here in order to retrieve your new column.  I made entries just to be consistent and am now pulling my new column info.

Hi @mercedesmonroy ,

When you import a CSV file, Power BI Desktop generates a columns=x in the Power Query editor (where x is the number of columns in the CSV file) as a step. If you subsequently add more columns and the data source is set to Refresh, any columns beyond the initial number of x columns are not refreshed.

Please turn to "Advanced Editor" in Power Query Editor.

You can change the number of columns to the actual number of columns you need.

Hello, as per my image below, the number of columns does not show. Is there another tip for this type of data source please? Thanks.

Hello, thanks very much for your reply. Just realised, that because the source is a Web app, then, I don't get the option showing the number of columns. See below image. Is there a way round this please? I actually tried insterting the field to the end of the list of fields in the Advanced Editor, but it conflicts with my applied steps.
