Web API Connection Stuck on Evaluating

Hi,

I'm trying to create an overview BI with data extracted from Salesforce Objects native integration and with Marketo's Rest API.

After creating all the script for extracting paged data, generating token and everything else, I've succeeded to run the connection on Power Query and managed to run on Pre-visualization Editing Query on Power BI.

When I try to load all data to start creating cenarios, I'm getting stuck on the Evaluating proccess..

I'm not running out of memory or CPU;

Already disabled parallel loading of tables and the fata Preview to download in the background;

If I maintain the queries only on power query and create the connection with the .xlsx file, is it possible to run and update through Power BI?

Also, is it possible to load the data model to Power BI Web?

Hi @eduardomaiawere you able to find a solution? As a workaround, maybe you can try to test your connection with a 3rd party connector, which pulls data directly from SF objects API. I've tried windsor.ai, supermetrics and funnel.io. I stayed with windsor because it is much cheaper so just to let you know other options. In case you wonder, to make the connection first search for the Salesforce connector in the data sources list:

After that, just grant access to your Salesforce account using your credentials, then on preview and destination page you will see a preview of your Salesforce fields:

There just select the fields you need. It is also compatible with custom fields and custom objects, so you'll be able to export them through windsor.  Finally, just select PBI as your data destination and finally just copy and paste the url on PBI --> Get Data --> Web --> Paste the url.

What specific operations(merge/append/add custom columns) do you take in Query Editor? How many rows does your API return and how many queries in Query Editor?

Based on the above description, do you want to connect to the data source from Power Query of Excel and update the Excel file via Power BI? If so, it is possible.
