Waterfall chart display issue with different max breakdown setting

Here's what the waterfall chart shows when I set the max breakdown to 5  ( I have six category)

its correctly display, both the breakdowns and totals. The only thing I want to show all the category breakdown, so when I change the max breakdown to 6, I get this instead.

if you notice the area circled in red, the label shows the right ending value ($89m) but the bar is missing.

Have you check if the axis starts at 0?

Can you share a small dataset example in order to get the correct setup please.
