I built the dashboard based on the Power Pivot in Excel, the original data source is sql database. Every time I refresh data, the visuals are not updating.
For example, the power query latest data is 19/09/2025, the data is not show in the table view

I filter the table view for the recent date, not data showing.
The latest available date is 12 Aug 2025. There no filter on the visual or page.
Hi @Rev999 ,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Community.
After refreshing your Power Query data, ensure that your Power Pivot model is also refreshed. Sometimes Power Pivot doesn’t update immediately after the data in Power Query is refreshed. In the Power Pivot window, click on the "Refresh All" button to make sure that all the data is updated.
As you mentioned filtering the table view for the recent date. Double-check the filters in Power Query to ensure that no older data or static filter is applied during the data load. If the filter is applied in Power Query itself, make sure it's updated correctly to reflect new data.
Check if the relationship between the tables in Power Pivot is set up correctly. If there is no proper relationship between the tables or if the relationships are incorrectly configured, it could result in data not showing in the visuals.
Sometimes Excel caches the data and prevents it from updating. To clear this cache: Go to Data > Queries & Connections, right-click your query and select Clear Cache.
Since you're working with dates, make sure that the date format in Power Query and Power Pivot is consistent. If the date is in text format, it might not match the filter correctly. Ensure that the "firstrecdate" field is formatted as Date in Power Query. Double-check the visuals in your dashboard. Make sure the filter applied within the visuals (or slicers) is correct and reflecting the updated data.
If none of the above works, consider rebuilding your visuals to reset any potential issues in the chart’s data binding.
Hope this helps.
Best Regards.
