Hi Power BI Community!
I have a question regarding a Table visuals.
I would like to see a revenue breakdown by categories (Row) and by monthly (Column)
Basically, I want to see revenue categories on the left hand side of the table and
I want to see month name on top right hand side of the column.
In raw excel data, I have dates (From 2017/1/1 to 2017/3/31) and I do not want to touch raw data.
When I put dates in the table visual column, it shows revenue by categories by day,
but I only want to see monthly view.
How can I filter out days and only look at monthly data?
PS. I use timeline visuals to select which months that the table will show. (This feature I want to keep)
Appreciate your support!

Hi Power BI Community,
I created a column equaling date and then I was able to have a hierachy within dates to filter out day and quarter.
New Column = (Table(Dates))
No need for a response here!
Thanks,
