Visual need: day to day comparison of event time duration in hours/minutes

I am looking to make a visual like the one below that compares duration of events in hours/minutes of various start and stop times stacked by days so I can see how the event duration compares day by day. Gantt charts get me close but they show data over a timeline instead of a stacked comparison.

@kbuckvol , I doubt you can get time on the y- axis of standard visuals. Check for custom visual
