Visual Gallery Update Question

So, I am using a component from the visual gallery and it gets updated.  Do I need to install the new one?  How do I know when they get updated?

Usually Power BI is backward compatible to the old version visuals, you don't have to do anything. The updated visuals may have more features or bugs fixed.

Unfortunatelly there's no subscription for the custom visual gallery, you'll have to check update manually. By the way, you can submit this idea at Power BI Ideas.
