Virtual Analysis Environment

I have worked with PowerBI to build nice reports using visuals like new card, clustered chart, slicers formatted in a fashion in tune with my company’s color and theme specifications. I have a new requirement to build a platform where reporting metrics are decided by the visiting users. Essentially, something like a virtual analysis platform.

  1. How can I or what design options do we recommend to build a platform that allows users to decide the metrics they want on the visuals.
  2. For a target audience that is not BI savy, is there a way to dynamically dictate the visual type used in analyses through selection of a drop-down list?
  3. How can I maintain a template of a preferred formatting theme then reference it after a user selects a preferred chart type? A functionality similar to what format painter does.

Hello @franklwambo ,

what I know about that you can make dynamic, is the field selections, and this can be achieved through field parameters.
