I don't even know what words to search for. Apologies if this is obvious.
Here's a table:
| Name | Region | Big | Mid | Little |
| Julie | North | 13 | 5 | 12 |
| Markus | North | 16 | 18 | 12 |
| Markus | South | 12 | 6 | 21 |
| Uma | North | 13 | 9 | 1 |
What I'm trying to do is get a horizontal stacked bar chart, that has Big, Mid, and Little down the Y axis. Each of the 3 bars should be stacked from Jule's, Markus' and Uma's numbers. Note that from Markus I just want the one number (north and south combined).
I feel like I'm missing something very obvious, but I've spent a stupid amount of time going crazy.

the point is to first unpivot your data to something like below:
then everything becomes more intuitive:
