I am trying to query data from a database in Power BI but my graph is wrong. The picture below shows historical values for a tag over the past 30 days graphed.
When I retrieve this data with Power BI and plot a line graph I get this.
Clearly the shape is much different and the values are spiking to 80,000 rather than 4000. I suspect it has to do with me summarising the Value field as a sum but I don't know what I need to change it to. Can someone advise. Thanks

@Anonymous
I think in the PowerBI graph the data are aggregated on a day level (e.g. sum of value of day 5 across all month) whereas in the top graph is on date-time level
Make sure you select date from the datetime field and not Day
from the drop down arrow icon next to datetime ... select date and not date hierarchy
Thanks, that could be it. Do you know how to change it? The data type says DateTime in Power Bi
See attached image on how you can change it
Thank you! That fixed it.
