Hi everyone
In Power Querey, I'm trying to find out a way that whenever my Reference Col starts with FX and contain numbers then "Internal" Example: FX12345 else if it starts with FX and contain text then "External" Example: FXMYRJUNE . I know that type number is not correct so what should I replace it with?
if Value.Is([Reference],type number) and
Text.StartsWith([Reference], "FX") then
"Internal FX Deal"
else
if Value.Is([Reference],type text) and
Text.StartsWith([Reference], "FX") then "External FX Deal"
Thanks

Hi @ritanoori ,
Try this custom column:
if Value.Is(Value.FromText(Text.AfterDelimiter([Column1], "FX")), type number) = true then "Internal FX Deal"
else "External DX Deal"
