Using visuals as independent objects

Hello everyone,

I'm stuck on a problem since a few days. I have already tried by creating columns or by testing different measures.

Here is the context.

My data source consists of four fields:

  • a product name
  • an additional label (which can indicate the container if it is not specified in the dedicated field or other indications)
  • a container (may appear empty if it has not been filled in, by omission)
  • a weight

Products are distributed in three different containers.

To create visuals, the sorting is done either according to the type of container (if filled in the corresponding field), or according to the label (the database is not "clean", due to a lack of standardization for years, which complicates the filters). For example, the same product can have different labels, which will place it in different containers.

I want to get the total weight for each type of container.

Currently, I have made two visuals, for two of the three containers.
However, I have four visuals for the third container, as the filters are more complex.

The most efficient and simple method to obtain the weight of the third container would be to simply subtract the weights of containers 1 and 2 from the total weight ( [Quantity Container 3] = [Total Quantity] - [Quantity Container 1] - [Quantity Container 2] ).

This would mean that each of the visuals would be considered as an exploitable object in its own right. Is this possible?

By further extension, I would like to be able to use the data from the three visuals obtained (one per container) to be able to generate a new visual (a pie chart, which shows the total distribution per container).

Thank you in advance for your time and help!

None of this is even remotely possible in regular Power BI.  Power BI Embedded has a Javascript engine and may  be able to do that.
