Using list in parameter in M language

Hi,

I have a list of orderid in my repot. then i have a anohter query pull data based on this list. here is my M language for using this list as in statement:

WHERE #(lf)     WEBORDERNUM IN(" & Text.Combine(List,",") & ")"

But the problem is if you look at the query , it does use the list value, but the format is not right:

WEBORDERNUM IN(16915633054,16913450137,16912482428)

Because in oracle databse, you should writer it as:

WEBORDERNUM IN('16915633054','16913450137','16912482428')

So can I add '' to all my order id?

Hi @NoobAnalyst01

One method:

To put single-quotes around each item in the list, change

Text.Combine(List,",")

to

Text.Combine( List.Transform(List, each "'"&_&"'"), ",")

Regards,

Owen
