Using a chart to navigate and drill down.

Hi Everyone,

I am new in Power BI and I would be greatful to you if you can help me solve this issue.

I have 2 Dial Gauge Chart and I want my users to give them flexibility to click on any chart which can navigate or open another chart that contains detailed tabular report based on that Selected chart.

For example here in this case we have 3 charts and when user will click on any chart it should navigate to another page where we can see detailed description of the selected filter.

Any help or any wayaround where we can achieve similar to this in power bi will be too helpful.

Regards,
Akash

Hi @akash_mishra123,

From your description, I understand that you want to click on one chart and it will show the detailed description of the data.

You could try to use the feature Bookmark to get it. Follow the steps of creating Bookmarks:

  1. Click View——>tick Bookmarks Pane.
  2. Add the bookmark in the detailed data page, you also could rename the bookmark.
  3. You could create shapes and images to link with bookmarks. With this feature, when you click on an object, it will show the bookmark associated with that object.
  4. When you are in editing mode you can use ctrl+click to follow the link.

For more details about Bookmarks, you could refer to the two  links:

You should note the limitations of using Bookmarks.

Hope it can help you!
