hi
i have a Query that captures the file location of a file used. I would like to extract the filename ONLY and put that in a label (measure?) on the Dashboard.
so if the filename was Test.xlsx (i scratched out the real name in the image), i would like to add this name to a label as the name of the Dashboard report. I dont want the long URL, just the filename also without the .xlsx.
please let me know how i can do this either thru Power Query or DAX.

Hi @Anonymous ,
You can try to get data->folder in powerbi desktop and then use extract function in power query to separate out the file names.
If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information and let me know immediately. Looking forward to your reply.
Best Regards,
Henry
