Using Power BI to display on TVs
I am attempting to use Power BI to display dashboards on tvs around our office.
Struggling to figure out the publishing, refreshing, and automatic page transitioning.
Things I've tried -
Created the reports, visuals, pages in Power BI Desktop
Published them
Added Power BI Visuals Auto Refresh chrome extension
Added Power BI Add-In on Powerpoint to pull the visuals in for a looping slide show
I'm running into issues where the chrome extension does not seem to be updating the visuals on the browser and therefore not updating on the powerpoint. It seems the only time it's updating is when I update it on the desktop version and republish it.
Any help on how to fix this or any other ideas on a better way to do this is much appreciated.

Hi sjones1
I have created the "Power BI Visuals Auto Refresh chrome extension".
Is your report connected to the source using DirectQuery connection mode?
That extension will work when you have directquery or live connection, otherwise, the only option is to update the report.

Unfortunately it is not. It's pulling from salesforce reports

Hi sjones1 , hello VahidDM, thank you for your prompt reply!
If the Import storage mode isn't supported for auto refresh extension, please check if you could open reports update automatically if the underlying semantic model is refreshed and the user has Write permissions. If this works, there's no need to republish the report each time. You only need to schedule a refresh in the Power BI service.
Best regards,
Joyce
