User to input data to check if that is available in the excel connected to the dashboard

Having a dashboard generated for the team members to check based on a Input box to check if the datas are avialble in the excel connected to power bi, if yes all the revelant fields in the dash board should be populated with the information available in the excel sheet.

Please help if there is any way to solve this problem

Hi @Anonymous,

Maybe you can consider writing a measure formula to replace the value fields that you used on visual and add if statement to check selection to replace the displayed value to blank if you not selected any values.
Notice: power bi will hide the records on visual if his category not matched any records or mapping to blank results.

@Anonymous Is this a slicer? So you want to show values only when the slicer value is selected, correct?

Yes correct when the value entered in the that Box matches it should populate other fields linked to that value entered

 above screen shot for your reference, for example if i am entering the email ID in the column, i should be able to populate other fileds in the dash board
