I have a calculated table where I want to use a value from a slicer as a parameter for filtering. Is that possible? There is no visual based on that calc table.
Thanks
@Markzolotoy Are you talking about this: Dynamic M query parameters in Power BI Desktop (preview) - Power BI | Microsoft Docs?
Otherwise, I don't understand the question.
Can that be applied to a calculated table and the table would be saved back to the dataset?
@Markzolotoy Not sure I understand the question.
What I mean is that calculated table is stored in the dataset and can be accessed in paginated reports. I am thinking how I can provide data to the paginated report that it doesn't have to filter data on user selections since the data is already been filtered on these in the PB Desktop.
Impossible, the calculated table is static, and the slicer can change dynamically.
