Hi,
When using the relative date slicer setting in desktop the dates are not based on my date table.
The dates seems to be based on system dates and not the max date in the date table.
Is it possible to change the slicers so the last x months is counted from the max date in the table and not the systeme date.
(FYI choosen the month (calendar) selectoin is not a option)
Hi @Mipd ,
According to your description, under Format->Values->Anchor date you can set the Anchor date, which determines the last date of your filtering, you can set the Anchor date to the last date in your date table and then adjust the other parameters. If you don't set the Anchor date, it will filter with the local date as the last time.
For more details on relative date, you can check out this document

Can i create a measure that make the anchor date dynamic. I do not want to visit my reports every time new data and new dates are uploaded?
Hi @Mipd ,
Thank you for your reply, your idea is good.,but pwoer bi now supports static anchors.

And the anchor date is the only option manipulate/change the 'relative date slicer', so it does not automatically run on the Power BI system date?
HI @Kishore_KVN
All the visuals and slicers are connected and filtered the same. And they are based on same date dim.
Hello @Mipd , can you provide some more details like from where the dates in table visual and slicer visual are pulled and also can you explain how your calendar table is created.
If I have to give answer with the provided images, I can see there is data till 18th March 2024 in calendar table that is the reason why it is reflecting in the slicer. Can you please align all of them so that you will get your desired output.
