Use date in one table to set a range for another table

Hi Everyone,

I have a report with two fact tables. One table is an excel employee time report (TR Table) and the other is data from a SP list where employees have reported their illness with details and dates (List Table). I have created a calendar dimension table and an employee name dimension table that are both connected to my fact tables. What I am trying to do is – when an employee shows up on the List Table with reported illness, I want to use their name and the illness start date to check the TR table to count the number of days or add the number of hours they submitted as sick days. The TR table has columns for date, hours, time code. I need to be able to check a range of dates (probably three weeks worth) on the TR table, starting with the date they provided in the list table and check for three possible time codes. I wish I could post some data on here, but I really can’t because of the nature. Any help is much appreciated

This sounds doable. Please provide sanitized sample data that fully covers your issue. If you paste the data into a table in your post or use one of the file services it will be easier to work with. Please show the expected outcome.
