Use Image url from Azure Data Lake GEN1

I have a Gen 1 datalake with different indicators and some jpeg. I am able to obtain the url of the images located in Azure Datalake and put it in a table. But I can't display it in Power BI. There is any way to do it?

I don't want to use Chriss Webb's solution, because “Image by cloudscope” has been removed from PowerBI: https://blog.crossjoin.co.uk/2019/05/19/storing-large-images-in-power-bi-datasets/

I also have use a blob storage to do it and it works. But I am unable to do it from Azure Data Lake. Could anyone help me?

Thanks in advance,

econde

Hi @econde ,

If your image URL needs to be verified, for example, this image comes from onedrive, but the image link access is set as 'People in the organazation with the link', it needs to login so it could not show in power bi desktop.

If you image URL needs not to be verified, set the column category as image URL in power bi desktop and it should be shown.

Hello @v-yingjl

So additional veriifcation is needed for image url?

With same credentials I am able to transform Data Lake jpeg to base64. And also use image url from blob storage. But when I want to use Data Lage image url is not possilbe, because I need additional credentials for all the possible readers. Is this correct?

Sounds a little bit strange.

Best regards,
