Hi all, I'm currently working on an excel data set, and have forgotten to include some groups from the excel file
I have already created the graphs, but is there a way to import the new data and maintain / update the graph data
Thanks

Hi i was looking to use a different data set and keep the graphs
I tried the template, but it still kept the original data
I deally i want to keep the graphs only as import the data set from excel
thanks
Just Refresh the PowerBI (if same file name and path)
edit queries, then advance query, then change path (if diff path/name)
Hi @cwstad,
You can import and create a template by clicking->File->Export->Power BI template.
After that, Power BI Desktop report as a template (PBIT file), which can be instantiated as a new Power BI Desktop report (PBIX file). You can import the template, either via double-click on the PBIT file, or by using the “File –> Import –> Power BI Template” path, a new Power BI Desktop file will be created, containing the actual data based on current user’s credentials for data sources, etc.
For more details, please refer to this article. And here is a thread which will help understand it.
Best Regards,
Angelia
