Hi, Here is the scenario:-
1. Customer wants to use Excel data for his backend data powering PBIX file. No DB.
2. PBIX file will be static.
3. Excel will be dynamic - i.e. updated weekly/monthly Customer wants to upload Excel file or get his customer to do it independently to PBIX publish.
Is there a way to do this without using PowerBI, i.e. first time publish will be PBIX and Excel file as a Dataset, then after that can we point the dataset to BLOB storage (or similar), by keeping the filename the same but the file will change in content (not structure)? Thanks.

You can use Ms Flow, this is a relatively new future, as explained in the article below.

Hi, I don't have SharePoint license. I used OneDrive for Business. I setup a flow for an Excel file to trigger based on modification, but that didn't work. Do I need to install a Personal Gateway installed in PowerBI.com?
