Up time and Down Time

Hi Guys, 

Im working on a report for Server/Application Up and down time. 

The Data i will be given on a monthly Basis is attached in a CSV

It shows the Critical system with the outage start time and end time and if the Outage was planned. 

I Would Like to set up a PBIX to show the "Critical System" with the Up and down time throughout the month. 

In line Chart BY day of the month. to show the down time and for how long.

Im hoping for some help on how i can do this.

@DanielHolland Seems like you need a variation of MTBF. See my article on Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) which uses EARLIER: http://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Mean-Time-Between-Failure-MTBF-and-Power-BI/ba-p/3395....
The basic pattern is:
Column = 
  VAR __Current = [Value]
  VAR __PreviousDate = MAXX(FILTER('Table','Table'[Date] < EARLIER('Table'[Date])),[Date])

  VAR __Previous = MAXX(FILTER('Table',[Date]=__PreviousDate),[Value])
RETURN
  __Current - __Previous

Thank you Greg, I did see this Article before i Posted the question. 

Its really Usefull, But i couldnt get it to work for my end report

- Im looking to select the month and then it show the Uptime and down time in a line graph By Day of the month ofthe critical system, Similar to the Image you included in your article.  

Using the CSV data that I mentioned in the question.
