Hi there,
I am trying to figure out the filter source in some of my visuals. By looking it up in the filter info I know that it is filtered by a column of a dim table "Organisationseinheit"[Fachbereich]. However, this column is not used for any filter or even visual in the page. I checked the other pages for snychronized filters and/or drilldowns but was not able to find the solution. Unfortunately I am not able to upload the pbix, due to the huge data model which contains lots of sensitive data. If I were to modify the model which is very time-consomung to only upload the relevant data I guess the problem would resolve itself just as in some prior of my cases. Any ideas on how to remove this filter or how I can provide valid data for you?
Regards
KS
Hello @KimStahl94,
Create a blank report page, copy the problematic visual (which you see a filter is working behind), paste the visual on this new page. Now check about filter on the visual and in the filter pane. If it works fine, just one by one copy the visuals on this page and taking care after which visual add the problem starts again. While pasting slicers, there will be pop ups for syncing the slicers, selects no to that.
Hope it helps.
Hi,
it is really driving me nuts because as far as I know I do not even use this dim table right now. Neither as filter nor in a visual. I will try deleting the table, but long term I would really like to know what is happening. Because a dim table for organization units will become handy some time.

HI @KimStahl94,
Did any other relationship that indirectly interact with this from other tables fields?
In addition, you can also turn on the 'edit interaction' layout to check the interactions to confirm if any other visual interact with this:

Hi @Anonymous,
for some reason still unknown to me, the problem has disappeared. Therefore, unfortunately, I can not check your suggested solutions. As far as I know, however, no filters of other tables fields should have existed, I had checked that.
@KimStahl94 , Hope there is no drill through the filter in drill through the section.
also, check on visual using the filter icon if you see any filter on visual, which is saved because or include or exclude
Thanks for the tips. Maybe I got you wrong, but I still do not know how to remove the filters. I linked a screenshot in my original post, there I can see the included filter "Organisationseinheit"[Fachbereich] that I am trying to remove. But how can I remove it? I double checked that all other visuals aren't drilled down and there should'nt be synchronized filters.

KS
I double checked that no other visual is drilled down.
