Unknown error message

Hi

I am not sure what is the cause of this error:

music43_0-1620118567559.png

I have a pbix file (File A) which contains a mixed storage mode data model and 4 or 5 report pages. Most of the queries are stored in this model but I am loading a sales table and some dax from another pbix in the service.

I am now trying to split the report into a thin report (File B) and seperate data set (File C) so I have created 2 versions, one where I have deleted all the report pages except for the blank one which I published to the service (File C). The other, I have deleted all the queries except for the direct query (File B). When I went to swap the data source to the newly published pbix (File C), I got the above error.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Thanks

Oli

To answer your questions:

In the original pbix (File A)

Where 90% of the model was import via ODBC and the other direct query was bringing in a single table and some associated DAX.
