Unit Conversions based on Conversion factor column from another table

Hi All,

I have a trouble finding out a way to calculate the columns using the Conversion factors. I have a table with Inventory values and all the values in the table contain different units of measure. The table with the screenshot also contains Product_id's which creates a relationship with the Conversion_table.

The column not only contains CS but has other units_of_measure as well.

The above table is the conversion table that has the conversion factor based on the Product_id.

Now I'm stuck and confused on how to calculate the Unrestricted_column based on the conversion factor.

Example: I want to convert the unrestricted column from the first table to LB's which contains all kinds of units such as CS,EA,KG,etc. that has conversion factor in the conversion_table.

I think this may things easier if we can convert the entire units into one i.e. Cases (CS).There's no idea that's striking up even for this usecase.

I need a solution for the above problem.

Hoping that someone can help me on this.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Sharing just a screenshot will not help.  Please share the download link of your PBI file.  Along with that, share an MS Excel file with your Excel formulas there so that your logic can be understood and translated into the DAX language.
