Hi,
How do i un-hide a column that i have hidden in PowerPivot 2010?
I have a PowerBi report based on a datamodel in Excel PowerPivot 2010.
To ease the use of the model, i have hidden the columns that have no interest for the client by right-clicking the column, and using the 'hide from client tool' option. Different from PowerPivot for excel 2013 and beyond, it does not grey-out the column, but completely removes it - and i cant seem to find a way to unhide them - which is annoying.
Hope someone can help me, since it is probably quite simple!
Best regards,
Rasmus
Solved! Go to Solution.
Press the Show Hidden Button and It will show your hidden column/tables. Go to the column, Right Click and unhide from client tools.
It is not turned on at this moment and that's why you can not see previously hidden items.
This is tried and tested and it does work.
Thanks

Hi BhaveshPatel,
Thanks for the reply.. However, it does not look like that in my screen, instead it shows 'add' where yours show 'Hide and unhide', and then 'delete', 'freeze' and 'width' beside it where yours has 'add' and 'delete'.
Any suggestions?
Many thanks,
Rasmus
Can you please send me the screenshot of your screen.
Sure, here it is:
🙂
Also the screenshot of Home Tab Please.
If you have Show Hidden turned on, you’ll be able to see the previously-hidden tables and columns. If you have Show Hidden turned off, you will not be able to see the previously-hidden items.
Home tab here.
Press the Show Hidden Button and It will show your hidden column/tables. Go to the column, Right Click and unhide from client tools.
It is not turned on at this moment and that's why you can not see previously hidden items.
This is tried and tested and it does work.
Thanks
