Unexpected Blank Values

Hey, I am trying to create a forecast line that starts where actual data ends. However, I am getting unexpected results and was wondering if somene can share some insight.
My goal is to create something that looks like this:

However my issue is that for some reason the variable in my DAX is causing issues when returning the numerical Value.

For example: When I hardcode the # 44 into the DAX - the expression works and the forecast line is visible. However when I reference the variable lastScope - the line is not visible and the value is not 44. (Screenshots below)

I am currently here:

Any thoughts on what I may be doing wrong? I imagine it could be a filter context issue?

    Hi FEninja_ ,

You can try replacing 'DATE' with ALLSELECTED('DATE').

And if your data is regular to forecast, you can try the forecast line under analyze.

Use the Analytics pane in Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

    Best Regards,
