Unable to use preview features
I am unable to enable On-Object interaction from Preview Features.
When I select on-Object interaction and then click OK, "Ok" button color changes from Green to Grey and nothing happens, no pop up shows up to restart. Actually, if I select any of the Preview features and click OK, nothing happens, no pop up shows.
No changes apply. I want to use on object interation.
I have uninstalled and installed Power BI Desktop many times from https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/desktop/
Please suggest.

Try downloading Power BI from this link and install this version https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=58494

I tried that, didn't resolve the issue. Nothing happens when clicking OK, other than the button grays out. The only option is to click "Cancel" at that point, which doesn't save the changes. None of the preview features will install (the main one I want is the Shape maps).
FYI, I downgraded PBI Desktop to a Jan 2022 version and then the preview features could be installed without any trouble.

I have already tried downloading and installing from that link. But, the issue is still unresolved.

After installing and confirming the Jan 2022 version worked fine. I tried upgrading to the June 2023 version here:

Same problem, nothing happens after clicking "OK" on the options menu. The old preview functions I enabled with a previous version are still active but I cannot enable any more.
