Hi all, bit of a backstory - we have been recently moving all of our reporting to shared datasets and I am in the process of moving quite a large file over.
We are using the option to have a local model so that we can do calculation groups in the end files rather than the shared datasets.
Because of this I have been copying measures over from one file to another with no problem using tabular editor. I then thought I may as well just copy and paste the calculation groups over too whilst I am at it. It seemed to work fine in terms of there was no error (although i did have to go and manually change the setting for implicit measures).
Now whenever I try and use calculation groups within this file i get hit with this error:
Which I have googled but had no luck.
I have tried deleting and recreating the calculation groups under different names etc but still always get this error.
Also have tested in a new file and there is no error, works with no issue. I believe I may have done something to the file in the process of copying the old ones over.
Apologies if this is not the right place for Tabular Editor questions, would appreciate if anyone could point me in the right direction if not.
For anybody else that comes into this issue file 'xllogop.inl' - i found that it was caused by me directly referencing a measure in a calculated column. As soon as the column was deleted the file started working again. If I have time i will recreate the issue with dummy data and raise it in the proper place.
Hi @GP-9,
OK, thanks for sharing the detailed information and workaround to resolve this issue.

HI @Anonymous,
I do not so recommend you to directly copy/paste these data model entities to other models, they may include some original model reference and definition that do not match with the target models.
For this scenario, I'd like to suggest you take a look at the following blog to do migrate operations between these data models:
Migrate Analysis Services models to Power BI using Tabular Editor – Data – Marc (data-marc.com)
