Unable to sign in in PBI desktop app but able in desktop from web download

Hi,

I have both power bi desktop from the app store and power bi desktop from the web download installed on my pc.

I'm not able to sign in when using the PBI desktop from the app store.

<> I'm able to sign in when using the web downloaded version.

In the app store version I get the following message:

'You don't seem te have an account for Power BI. Please click the button to sign up.'

I'm not changing any wifi, proxy, firewall settings in between so seems like a bug to me.

Please update the Desktop installed from app store to the latest version to see if it works.

I uninstalled the app store version and installed it again but same message remains.
