We have a public website that hosts the images we need. I added a matrix in Power BI with the values of the http links behind the images on the public website, but they are shown as broken images.
I tried some other images on Google and it gets worked. So it seems to be related to the website settings.
An observation is that by clicking the http link, it won't lead us to the image link unless we visted the main site in the first place and had that session opened in the browser. My tests on the image links within my browser told me so but I wasn't be able to find out the root cause. The images came from a Court case management system named Odyssey and we managed the database and images on premise.
Does anyone have similar experience or have insights on this issue? Thank you!
Best Regards,
Phoebe
yes, sounds like you need to have a valid active session cookie to be able to consume these images. Not something you can solve in DAX. Look for a different repository or talk to the website owners about options.
