Unable to see data while using reference table

Hi All,

I am using data source as Sales Force Reports. It has table "User Logins" with User Name and Login Date Columns. In the same PBI file i have created "Date" table as a reference table which contains 'Date' Column which has dates from 1st Jan 2019 - 31st Dec 2020.

I am plotting bar chart where X axis is Login Date from " Users Logins" Report of sales force and Y axis is Count of Users...If i am  SLICING users count with "Login Date" column of same "Recent Logins" Table its working as expected.

After this have created Active Relation between "Recent Logins" and "Date" tables so that i can use"Date" column of date table to slice data of Logins table.

When using 'Date' column of "Date" table to Slice User Count data it is turning BLANK. I am uanble to slice data using reference table Date for here. Please help. Let me know if this is not clear.

Hi @rpagar ,

Please select the date table, right click and select Mark as Date Table as below screenshot. Later check whether you can get the desired result after set it as date table.

@rpagar , check the login date has a timestamp .

Create date like this and join

Date = [login date].date

Hi @rpagar ,

Which data type [Date] field in Date table and Field [Login Date] in table User Logins are respectively set in Power BI? They are set as Date or other date type? Whether their date type and format are same?

Hi @rpagar ,

It is strange. Could you please provide your sample pbix file (exclude sensitive data) in order to make troubleshooting?

@rpagar

In the relationship  of the two tables what is the Cross Filter Direction? Single or Both?

Change it to both and see if it works

Tried with both. But No luck. Thank you for reply.
