Unable to schedule refresh for excel Semantic model

I am unable to scehdule refresh for an excel file which is saved at the Shared newtwork drive. The option is greyed out.

Thanks for the reply from danextian .

When the data source used by the report is local and you need to refresh it in the service, you need to configure a gateway as a bridge between the local data source and the service.

Connect to the Excel file using the path \\servername\issueexport\jiraexport_its.xlsx.

The specific operation steps are similar to the document below. Just change the SQL Server data source mentioned in the document below to File.
