Unable to re-create bar chart within Power BI
Dear community,
I dispair of rebuilding a bar chart within Power Bi that was initially built within Excel and would highly appreciate your kind support.
Here is the bar chart I try to rebuild:
The data source contains four different columns that hold the different answers (52 per column) as text (Strongly agree, agree, etc.). They look like the following. The individual statements can be found at the end of the texts):
I used a Power BI bar chart and tried every possible combination for the x/y axis and legend. I was able to get it done for one column:
However, when I add additional columns, it either doesn't allow me to add more data (what I actually need), or it ends up like this:
Can you please kindly let me know what I'm doing wrong and how I can rebuild the graph within Power BI?
Thank you very much in advance.
Mathias
Hi,
Select all columns other than the 4 columns you alluded to. Right click and select "Unpivot Other Columns". Rename the Attribute and value columns. Now create your visual.
Hope this helps.
