Hi @Sarah_He ,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community.

The file has been protected using a sensitivity label from Microsoft Purview, and your current access rights don’t allow you to open it.

Here are some steps to fix it:

1.Contact your Power BI or Microsoft 365 admin
Let them know you're seeing this message. They can either:

  • Grant you access to view/edit files with that specific sensitivity label
  • Or adjust the label’s permissions to include you or your group

2.Check if you're logged in with the correct account
If you're using Power BI Desktop, make sure you're signed in with the same account that has permission to open labeled files. Sometimes switching accounts fixes it.

3.Update Power BI Desktop
Make sure you're using the latest version of Power BI Desktop. Older versions may not support all sensitivity label features.

If this post helps, then please consider Accepting as solution to help the other members find it more quickly, don't forget to give a "Kudos" – I’d truly appreciate it!

Thank you.
