When within TRANSFORM DATA (fka Edit Data - gotta love how what you seen in Power BI instructional videos does not align with what you see in the latest version of the product even when the instructional video is only a few months old) when adding a new Index Column (specifying From 1) and then moving that column to the beginning, when clicking Apply And Exit and returning to the DATA tab in Power BI Desktop that Key Column is not listed first but last. I have tried deleting and adding it several times and it always goes back to the END when returning to the DATA tab.
I am following along with a Power BI Video and if i understand correctly that Index column needs to be on the far left (at the beginning) and it refuses to relocate there.
What am I missing?

@edcarden It shouldn't matter where the index column is, just mark it as a key or index column in the Model view if you need. What instructional video or what is your end goal.

It does appear that the order did not matter but in an earlier sectio of tveideo the trainer emphasised the improtance of the Key column being the first column but that appears to be specifc to unpiviotting.
Thanks
