Hi Guys,

I need to find average(count(column), Dax is not allowing to create measure with nested function. So I created a measure count(Coulmn) and on top of it  tried to average, nothing works average function need column.

Kindly suggest me a solution for this its very urgent.

Hi @saikarthick,

In order to achieve this you need to use an aggregator that is a value thart makes the calculations row by row and then returns the aggregator result.

All the aggregators finish in an X examples: MAXX, SUMX; AVERAGEX and the parameter are Table and function so you need to do:

AverageTotal = AVERAGEX ( Table; Count(Table[Column]))

This will make the count row by row based on context and then make an average of the values. It's calculated step-by-step.
