Hi @Chumtsoe_2024 ,
Based on your problems, here are my answers.
Firstly you may ensure you have the necessary permissions to create tables within the Datamart.
Be aware that there are some limitations in Datamart, especially since it’s still in preview. For instance, certain features like DAX tables, dynamic slicers, and measure tables are not supported in Datamart. Sharing your Datamart to your workspace doesn’t inherently allow you to create new tables. However, collaborating in a workspace can be beneficial for co-ownership and management of content. If you need to share the Datamart for collaboration, ensure you have a Power BI Pro or Premium Per User (PPU) license.
If you want to add a new table to your report, you can use the “Enter Data” feature in Power BI Desktop or “Get Data” to connect to various data sources and add new tables.

Would sharing it to my workspace be an alternative to create a new table?
Are you connected via Direct Query? If so, then you'll need to switch to using a composite model - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/transform-model/desktop-composite-models
