URL Encoding While passing passing parameter thru URL

Hi,

I am filtering a report using Query String Parametrs in URL. The reports breaks when it encounters special charaters like Ampersand, Quote etc in the filter condition (value).

Is there a way we can encode the URL string in Power BI.

Thanks

Uri.EscapeDataString(part_of_url)

double encoding:

Uri.EscapeDataString(Uri.EscapeDataString(part_of_url))

Hi @dp106

You may have a look at below articles.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-url-filters

Thanks for your response.

I did go thru these documents before but could not get the filter condition working.

Here are the values in the filter condition

M&M  - & is replaced with %20 so the filter string is M%20M. This works fine

Mgmt-Int'l - ' is replaced with %27 so the filter string is Mgmt-Int%27l. When i look the URL in the browser, it see only Mgmt-Int rest is cutoff so the filter is broken.

Any one facing similar issue ?

Thanks
