I have two different visualizations - one is a clustered column chart and the other is a matrix. The data is from columns for monthly remaining hours worked (12 columns) and from contractor (1 column). I have tried the sort options under modeling and values. I want the contractor last names to be in alpha order on the clustered column chart. They are in alpha order by contractor last name on the matrix. Do you have suggestions? Appreciate your time.
I also tried the elipses drop down on the upper right corner of the chart. I selected Sort By Contractor which gives me Z-A. I want A-Z. So I click Sort By Contractor again and it changes to Sort By Sep 2017 Remaining Hours. It doesn't sort by Contractor A-Z.
Have you used the sort by column in modelling tab?
Thank you mnayar for responding. I tried to change the Z-A icon to A-Z as shown in Power BI Learning but it wouldn't change so I shutdown my computer and it worked. Sorry I was going back to delet my post so no one would waste time on it. Thanks again for responding. Apparently I am on a do not reply list.
