I have these two visuals. Both are based on the same table. I am trying to break interaction between the slicer and the chart by following:

So, I am selecting the slicer, then click on Edit Interactions. A filter icon appears above the chart. I am clicking on none:
But still when I select something in the slicer the chart gets filtered and only one column is shown.
Am I doing something wrong?

Have you followed PhilipTreacy’s advice and try if it can work?
You can also go to the filter pane on the right side of the report to clear the filter on this page and this visual like this:
If you still have a problem, you can post your sample pbix file(without sensitive data) so that we can help you to find the root problem.

Sounds like you are doing it correctly. After clicking on None, just try clicking on Edit Interactions again to deactivate this. It shouldn't matter but try it.
Can you please supply your PBIX, or at least a dummy version?
