Is there a way where I can have the data headers to be a row and then the values to be in another column with out unpoviting?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi @Rejaul84 today i have tried once again.
this is my sample dataa..
as you said you want header in row without transpose and unpivot
first I have created this data and you would need to create a calculated table or use DAX measures to generate the desired result.
Hope this is work for you what you are expecting.
Thank you
This can be achieved using the "Transpose" feature in Power Query Editor.
Import your dataset into Power BI.
open the Power Query Editor.
In Power Query Editor, select the columns that you want to transform into rows (the headers).
Right-click on the selected columns and choose "Transpose"
After transposing the data, you'll see a new row containing the original column headers.
Right-click on the first row and choose "Use First Row as Headers" to promote the row to headers.
@Anuja_Chaudhari Can you do this in the visual rather than transposing the data?
I have tried with table matrix but it is not acchiving proper output
I tried that but could not get to what I wanted. Thanks for trying.
