Try to overlay multiple columns in the legend of a map

Hi,

I'm trying to create a basic visualization on power bi to familiarize myself with its features. I was wondering if there was a way for me to combine multiple columns into the legend of one map. 

I'm using the city of chicago data portal, and was creating a map of the L stops across the city.

What I'd like to do is have the map share different colors for each of the different lines of L, color coding the map by for each line for every individual stop. With the shared stops being split dots of both colors. However, when I drag lines on to the legnd, it only lets me add one. In an attempt to fix this I changed the data type in the queries editor to True/ False instead of text. However, I still cannot place more than one column/ train line onto the map at once. 

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi @bberlin ,

As you know, in Power BI Desktop, it is not allowed to add multiple legend to a chart. But you can add multiple categories in Location. A workaround is to drag the multiple columns into Location, then you can drill down the chart by changing the hierarchy. And there is a document about tips of map you can reference.

I'm not overlaying locations. I'm using the regular map, with each row being an individual train stop. Then its longitude and latitude are seperate columns, along with the True/ False statement for the lines that stop is a part of. When I place any of the columns associated with the lines into the location I get an error.
