Hello,
Looking for some help with this. I am aware of transposing the data, but not sure how to pull the program name down for every date value in the array. Looking for either the manual manipulation methods to allow this to happen, or if there are applied steps that can be followed to automate this manipulation.
I am a beginner in PowerBI, any assistance is appreciated. Thank you in advance for any help.
My current dataset looks like this:
| Program: | 1/1/2022 | 2/1/2022 | 3/1/2022 | 4/1/2022 | 5/1/2022 | 6/1/2022 | 7/1/2022 | 8/1/2022 | 9/1/2022 | 10/1/2022 | 11/1/2022 | 12/1/2022 |
| A | 4474 | 1129 | 3233 | 4089 | 441 | 2624 | 1437 | 2281 | 68 | 3249 | 3252 | 1336 |
| B | 868 | 376 | 4403 | 2058 | 4574 | 3175 | 4599 | 3817 | 3209 | 3798 | 4488 | 261 |
| C | 3951 | 1918 | 328 | 820 | 1807 | 2713 | 1194 | 1733 | 4512 | 2827 | 3261 | 2881 |
| D | 2265 | 618 | 2041 | 2095 | 3177 | 3293 | 3078 | 3665 | 1899 | 2466 | 2745 | 2371 |
| E | 3923 | 4077 | 4247 | 2449 | 4303 | 3999 | 4205 | 2540 | 2095 | 4817 | 2987 | 2064 |
I am looking to get the dataset into this format:
| Program: | Date: | Value |
| A | 1/1/2022 | 4474 |
| A | 2/1/2022 | 1129 |
| A | 3/1/2022 | 3233 |
| A | 4/1/2022 | 4089 |
| A | 5/1/2022 | 441 |
| A | 6/1/2022 | 2624 |
| A | 7/1/2022 | 1437 |
| A | 8/1/2022 | 2281 |
| A | 9/1/2022 | 68 |
| A | 10/1/2022 | 3249 |
| A | 11/1/2022 | 3252 |
| A | 12/1/2022 | 1336 |
| B | 1/1/2022 | 868 |
| B | 2/1/2022 | 376 |
| B | 3/1/2022 | 4403 |
| B | 4/1/2022 | 2058 |
| B | 5/1/2022 | 4575 |
| B | 6/1/2022 | 3175 |
| B | 7/1/2022 | 4599 |
| B | 8/1/2022 | 3817 |
| B | 9/1/2022 | 3209 |
| B | 10/1/2022 | 3798 |
| B | 11/1/2022 | 4488 |
