Hello All! I have a question on how can i attain the report below. As you can see i have two tables: an appointment table and a date dimension table.
Working Day is a measure wherein it determines if a certain date falls on weekend or a weekday. Then, I get the sum of that field to get the total number of days work in a month. I played around the visuals but didnt get any luck.
PS: im a newbie in power bi
It took me a long time to think about the title in question and your text. haha ha!! In case, you want the sum of the number of hours, is that it?
Actually this is what i want to achieve:
User Reason Duration No. of Days Work
| User1 | On-site Visit | 60 mins | 168 hrs |
| User1 | Sick Leave | 480 mins | 168 hrs |
I used matrix however this what happens:
| Reason | On-site Visit | Sick Leave | ||||
| Duration | No. of Days Work | Duration | No. of Days Work | Duration | No. of Days Work | |
| User1 | 60 mins | 168 | 480 mins | |||
This is my setup in fields:
| Rows | User |
| Columns | Reason |
| Values | Duration |
| No. of Days Work |
Is this possible in power bi? Thank you so much!
